Hi! Liz and I are participating in The Big Blog Swap for 20 Something Bloggers, and traded blogs for the day! I’m Ohmygoshi from When In Rome, so head over there to see what she’s got to say!

It’s actually pretty funny that we got paired up together, being we’re both D.C. bloggers. Well, right now I’m in Florida, but I go to school in D.C. so I consider myself to be one of them. I love the city, and I’m a huge Redskins fan, I cried when Joe Gibbs retired… again.

It got me thinking about strange coincidences. I think we’ve all had one or two in our lives that have just made us go “huh. That was weird” Whether it’s running into an old friend while traveling abroad, realizing that you and your friend were at the same concert 5 years before you even met, or meeting someone with the same exact bag as you bought for the same exact reason – for a trip to the beach in Florida.

If you want to get into the quantum physics of it all, there’s this theory called the String Theory that suggests the universe is made up this tiny tiny strings that vibrate and occasionally intertwine, thus creating coincidences. I know this because there’s a CSI episode about it.

Here’s the clip that explains it all (though I warn you, it does spoil the episode, so for all you CSI fans out there, the clip is from season 8 and is called The Theory Of Everything. So if this is the ONE episode you HAVEN’T seen…you may want to skip this part)

So… I guess Liz’s string and my string collided somewhere along the way, and that’s how you got two D.C. 20Somethings randomly being partnered up to trade blogs. What are some interesting coincidences that have happened to you guys??
