A new trend among gas stations has been to install televisions that play advertisements. Makes sense. You’re stuck standing there while the gas pours into your tank at a tauntingly slow place. You’re a trapped audience! I just find it amusing, and a little insulting, that this trend is emerging at a time when the gas prices are skyrocketing.
When I’m blowing more than $30 on a mere half a tank of gas, I totally want to spend money. I don’t know about you guys.

I can see why they’re doing it, but the timing is just off. Filing up my tank isn’t where I think about new purchases. It’s where I cry.

Wow, I totally didn’t know that. The perks of not having a car…

Wow I have not seen that yet. Watch me get too engrossed by the advertisement and spill gas on me. Ew. more money down the drain.

Oh yuck. Way to rub in the fact that you have no money!

Filling my car (a medium sized sedan) costs $100.00 Australian. It’s extortion!!!!!
I feel ya.

I prefer the places where they play awesome music. That way I can pass the time by dancing
