I’m a DC native. Well, I was born in California, but my DC area parents moved back before I even turned two years old, and I grew up in and around the District. My parents thought I’d be bitter because I was born in Oakland instead of San Francisco; I’m bitter that I wasn’t born here.
I’m an amateur photographer and movie critic, and enjoy a past time of pretending to be a decent writer. I love cooking and I’m slowly teaching myself to be more of a culinary adventurer. I love beer, Sangria, and scotch on the rocks. I’m a sports/dive bar patron, and a worshiper of the Washington Redskins. I’m also a fan of the Nationals, and fully support the “Let Teddy Win!” campaign. I’m a member of the “Posse of Culturality”.
My fiance (Patrick Does DC), our pooch (Horatio, the Scottish Terrier), and I live in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington DC.

You have now replaced The Golden Girls as my source for daily laughs…and trust me, that’s big (sadly, I am a 60 year old woman trapped in a 30 something’s body…or a gay man).

The Golden Girls rock. Seriously. I take this as a tremendously high compliment. And I adore your blog, as well.

Yay! I’m totally a Let Teddy Win! person myself. I can’t stop dedicating blog posts to him! Maybe next year, eh?
